BEARDSLEY – Died, at her home at Beacon, at 7:30 o’clock A.M., April 11, 1896, of congestion of the brain, after an illness of eleven months, MARY ANN, the beloved wife of Wm. Beardsley, aged 56 years.
Thus ends the earthly career of a wife and mother who knew her duty and faithfully and well performed it all times. For forty years she had been a resident of Iowa, and had done her part in every way. Her children, Mrs. John J. Price, Mrs. Frank Sheppard and one son, know and mourn her worth, together with her husband and friends. The funeral will be at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, from the family residence at Beacon to Forest cemetery. All friends of the family are invited to attend without further notice.
