Janell Aboushadid, our precious gift from God, was taken to her Lord and Maker as a result of a devastating automobile accident on Sept. 27, 2003. Her burial will be a private family affair at the Idalou Cemetery.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the First Baptist Church on Broadway at Avenue V in Lubbock. Janells body will lie in state at Rix Funeral Directors on Tuesday, with the family being present from 6 until 7 p.m. Janell was born in Lubbock on Nov. 21, 1987.
Her loving family includes her mother, Martha Neitsch; her father, George Aboushadid; stepfather, Galen Neitsch; stepbrother and sister, Skylar and Taylor Neitsch, all of Lubbock; her step-grandmother, Patsy Burch of Idalou; uncle, aunt and cousins; Vernon, Sue, Sarah and Jacob Medlock, of Comfort; aunt, Nadia Hage; cousins, Sam, Gus, Maha, and Suha Hage, all of Houston; George Malouf and George Abouhabib of Los Angeles; four uncles, three aunts and 31 cousins who live in Venezula and Lebanon.
