Louise's husband John died December 24, 1895. She then went on to marry Robert Ochsner on March 23, 1904. They later divorced.
Louise died on June 14, 1942, at 6:35 a.m. at St. Raphael Hospital in New Haven, CT, due to complications of diabetes. Louise was 79 years old.
*Recently I learned that Louisa was buried in the Connor Family plot with her first husband John, whom she was made a widow by. This gave me a relieved feeling as I felt that she might be in an unmarked grave.
