Johnetta Ruth Lytle Ament, 94, died July 21, 2010, at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, Ga. She was born in Apollo, Pa., and lived at Plantation Manor in Thomasville since January, coming from Vero Beach. Before retirement, she worked for the Fifth Marine Division Association in Alexandria, Va. Previously, she worked as a secretary and a medical transcriber. In Vero Beach, she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She volunteered for the Indian River Medical Center Auxiliary for 27 years. She graduated from Apollo High School and attended business school. Survivors include two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon N. Ament; and son, John Gary Ament. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1850 Sixth Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960. Services: A celebration of life will be at 4 p.m. Aug. 4 at Plantation Manor, Thomasville. A memorial service will be at a later date at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
