Original burial spot

Although the memorial plate for Joseph's reburial site has 1836 as his year of birth, there is a surviving baptismal record in the parish records at Repentigny. On 28 May 1833 Joseph Juneau, born the same day and of the legitimate marriage of Francois-Xavier Juneau and Marguerite Thifou (an alternate spelling of her last name). The Godfather was Joseph Payet and the Godmother Desanges Payet.
