His father, Sir John Douglas Hazen, was born at Oromocto, Sunbury County, N. B., 6 Jun 1860, died at Saint John, N. B., 27 Dec. 1937, buried in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John.
His mother, Ada Caroline Tibbits, was born at Fredericton, N. B., 7Dec. 1862, died at Saint John, July 1963; she was also buried in Fernhill Cemetery.

They were married in Fredericton, 22 Sept. 1884.
They has one other son and three daughters.
