Mrs. E.B. Weber, for many years a resident of Mineral Point, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T.S. Allen, at Oshkosh, on Wednesday of last week, and on Saturday the remains were deposited in Graceland cemetery, in this city.
Deceased first came here nearly 50 years ago, and resided here until her removal to Oshkosh, a few years since. She was about 80 years of age at the time of her death. Her family consisting of one son, Edward P. and three daughters, Natalia (Mrs. Gen. Allen) Emma and Lena Weber, were among our prominent and popular residents for several years and are pleasantly remembered by many friends. The son removed to the west several years ago and died there. The daughters all survive, and were present at the mother's funeral.
Gen. T.S. Allen, son in law of the deceased, and his two sons, Henry of Chicago, and Thomas of Oshkosh, were also among the mourners present.
The funeral cortege moved directly from the depot, on arrival of the noon train, to the cemetery, and interment was made, with brief funeral services by Rev. F.W. Straw and Rev. Frizzel, of Darlington.
