Lebanon, NH – Kenneth R. Stoodley, 79 died at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He was born on June 20, 1934 to the late Gernald & Marguerite (Moffitt) Stoodley. Ken grew up in Hanover where he attended schools he later served with the Army National Guard. Following his discharge he went to work as a brick/stone mason. Ken worked in the Upper Valley on various jobs such as Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and many buildings for Dartmouth College. He had been a member of Brick Layer Local Union since 1955. He owned and operated Ken's Country Store in Wilder, VT. Ken was married to Marlene Knight who had predeceased him. He enjoyed visiting his camp to hunt and fish in Tunbridge, VT

He is survived by his three children Steven Stoodley of Lyme, NH, Brenda Lyman of Hartford, VT and Michael Stoodley of Lebanon, NH, a sister Ann Dutile of Canaan, NH six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Maxine Thornton and a longtime friend Francis Maville.

Family and friend are invited to calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 1-4 pm. A funeral will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 10am at the funeral home burial will follow in the Pine Knolls Cemetery in Hanover.
