Mrs. Allwine was born in Willard June 20, 1880 and resided in Mansfield for 20 years before moving to Lorain 14 years ago. She was one of the organizers for Ruth Chapter, O.E.S. in Mansfield and has been active in the Eastern Star throughout the state. At the time of her death she held a state office. She was a member of the First M.E. Church and Naomi Whaite Shrine of Lorain.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, Evert T Walters of Muskegon Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. D.L. Forrest of Mansfield, Mrs. Charlotte Palmer of Belle, Calif., and Mrs. Eunice Purnell of Willard, a brother, Charles Teagarden of Pennsylvania, and two grandchildren.
