The funeral of Isaac Serling 70 who died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, was
held from the family home, 635 Madison st. this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial
was made at Jamesville Gate
Cemetery. Mr. Serling had been ill for a long period. He is survived his widow,
Mrs. Anna Serling; four sons, Barnet, Jacob and Max Serling of this city, and
Samuel Serling of Cortland; five daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Kaplan of Detroit,
Mich.; Mrs. Sarah Blumberg of Auburn; Mrs Jennett Herr, Mrs. Rose Finkelstein
and Miss Bell Serling of this city; one brother, one sister, 24 grandchildren
and two
great-grandchildren.
