BLACKWATER, Va. - Bob Berry, 65, entered into rest Sunday (Dec. 3, 2000) at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Berry was born July 26, 1935, in Scott County, Va., and was a farmer.
Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his parents, G.H. and Pansie Manness Berry, one son, Joe Berry; one brother, Ralph Berry; a granddaughter, Tabitha Dawn Berry; and two half-brothers, James Code Berry and Ed Berry, both of Blackwater, Va. .
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Berry, Blackwater, Va.; four daughters, Vivian Ann Berry, Linda Sue Berry, and Lilly Juanita Livesay, all of Blackwater, Va., and Betty Ann Berry, Sneedville, Tenn.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Junior Ray and Helen Berry, Gate City, Va., Jessie Lee and Leona Berry, Weber City, Va., and Robert Lee Berry, Blackwater, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Dell Calton, Gate City, Va., Dolly Gilliam, Blackwater, Va., Bess Berry, Clinchport, Va., Mae Taylor, Clinchport, Va., Rose Edwards, Blackwater, Va., Bonnie Calton, Yuma, Va., Shirley Doss, Cowetta, Okla.; half-brothers, Charlie Berry, Jonesville, Va., and John Berry, Clinchport, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. .
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Gate City Funeral Home. .
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley and Basil Manness officiating. .
Burial will follow in the Berry Family Cemetery, Blackwater, Va.
