Bertha Alicia Barajas age 28, of Sunnyside, WA passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 due to injuries sustained in a automobile accident.
She was born February 17, 1982 to Francisco and Carmen (Arreguin) Chavez in Pasco, WA. Bertha was raised and received her education in Granger, WA.
On May 1, 1999 she married Joel Barajas in Prosser, WA. Following their marriage they made their home in Sunnyside, WA. She was currently employed by Community Dental Clinic in Sunnyside, WA. Bertha was a very loving caring mother and enjoyed spending time with her children. She enjoyed exercising daily and dancing.
She is survived by three children Joel Barajas Jr., Erica Barajas and Davian Barajas all of Sunnyside, WA, her parents, Francisco and Carmen (Arreguin) Chavez of Granger, WA, five brothers, Martin Chavez and wife, Maria of Granger, WA; Javier Chavez and wife, Maria of Sunnyside, WA; Jose Chavez and wife, Elisa of Othello, WA; Gabriel Chavez and wife Berenice of Toppenish, WA and Uriel Chavez of Granger, WA, three sisters, Sandra Verduzco and husband, Artemio of Sunnyside, WA; Graciela Valdez and husband, Jimmy of Sunnyside, WA and Maribel Farias and husband, Raul of Sunnyside, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.
