Born in Portland, a daughter of Albert and Ethel Libby Cornish, Mrs. Aaskov graduated from Deering High School in 1936.
She had been employed for more than 30 years by the Portland School Department as an administrative assistant in the superintendent's office.
Mrs. Aaskov was an avid reader and an active volunteer at Maine Medical Center and the University of Southern Maine Alumni Association.
