married Duane Boom on Aug. 12,
1956 in Wall Lake. She worked as
a retail clerk. She was a member of
Rabbit Club, Western Iowa Rabbit
Breeders Association and American
Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading,
sports, and showing rabbits.
Preceding her in death were
her father; and one brother,Alvin
(Mike) Clifford Wright.
Survivors include her mother;
husband; three sons - Daniel
Boom, Lake View; David Boom,
and wife, Deb, Storm Lake; and
Dana Boom, and wife, Deb, Bridge
City, Texas; one daughter -
Deborah (Mrs. Bruce) Laursen,
Storm Lake; two brothers - Ivan
Rohde, and wife, Maxine, Marion;
and Ray Wright, and wife, Maxine,
Laurens; one sister-in-law -
Corrine Wright, Independence,
Mo.; and five grandchildren -
Sarah and Tyler Boom, Bridge City,
Texas; and Justin, Tayrn and Jacob
