BETTY'S BROTHER, Dr James Francis Kilduff Jr. M.D., born July 31, 1921 in Ohio, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Canton, Ohio, age 87; buried in North Lawn Cemetery, with his wife, Helenmarie. He served as a flight surgeon in the US Air Force in WWII.
Although Raymond Arth spent his life in Cleveland, he had strong business ties to the Elkhart area and its RV and manufactured home builders. He was a supplier to OEM distributors, Clarke Supply, S.H. Leggitt Co., and KEVCO. Many other Elkhart distributors have carried Streamway or Phoenix faucets and most RV and MH builders have used some of their products.
He enlisted in the Army Air Corps after Pearl Harbor, and then transferred to infantry. He served with the 52nd Armored Infantry Battalion in France and Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and other commendations.
After the war he became general manager of Empire Brass, an affiliate of American Brass. There he developed the first designs for faucets that have become industry standards. He and his partner started Streamway Products in 1956. In 1979 he joined Phoenix Products, as an engineering consultant. He was an avid golfer.
