F. Arlene (Weaver) Ludwig, 82, of Douglass Dr., Douglass Twp., widow of Albert N. Ludwig, died Tuesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center where she had been a patient for the past week.
Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Emma (Templin) Weaver Lessig and Luther Weaver. Mrs. Ludwig was employed for 38 years as a clerical worker with the former Stanley G. Flagg Co., retiring in the 1980's. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pottstown. Mrs. Ludwig was a member of the Stanley G. Flagg Quarter Century Club.
She is survived by one brother, Raymond Richards, Douglassville; two sisters, Carole Rhoads, Amityville; Mary Lee Harp, Pottstown. She was preceeded in death by three brothers, Donald F. Weaver, R. Douglass Weaver, George L. Weaver; and one sister Janice E. Schmoyer.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Cremation Servcies 359 King St. Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend John Smolik. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.
