She was born in Oil City, Pa., and had been a resident of Lima 60 years. Her husband, Henry, died Nov. 17, 1949. She was a member of Calvary Evangelical and Reformed church, Order of the Eastern Star, past noble grand of the Stella Rebekah lodge and was the past high priestess of the While Shrine of Jerusalem in Lima.
Surviving are a son, Howard, Route 1; a brother, Frank Underwood, Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Etta Grulke, Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body will remain in Chiles and Son funeral home for services at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. H. C. Kellermeyer will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
