OBITUARY

Dale A. Chapman of Columbia, executive secretary of Missouri Heart Association, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1988 at Boone Hospital Center. She was 69.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. John Long officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight at Memorial Funeral Home.

Memorial:
Mrs. Chapman was born Jan. 27, 1918, in Salem to Charles and Mable Thornton Leonard. She married Joseph Gaylord Chapman, and he preceded her in death. She later married Fred Obermiller who also preceded her in death. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, American Business Women's Association and the volunteers of Columbia Regional Hospital.

Surviving are one son, Charles "Cokie" Chapman of Roseland, Fla.; two daughters, Lynn McKinney and Jeanne Gill, both of Columbia; three sisters, Alberta Ronan of St. Louis, Lois Rumsey of Smithton and Lila Taylor of Arnold; and six granddaughters. A brother, Lloyd Leonard, preceded her in death.
