HONEY GROVE (Special)-- Funeral services for Shirley David James, who died at his home in Honey Grove Wednesday, were held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Allen's Point Baptist Church. The Rev. T. J. Watts, Baptist minister in Honey Grove, conducted. Cooper's Funeral Home was in charge. Burial was in Allen's Point Cemetery.
Deceased was born in Johnson County, Texas, May 21, 1897. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Robert James, Everett James, John Earl James, and David Ray James; three daughters, Janice James, Joyce James, and Margie Ann James and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ted Holland, Luther Stevenson, Leonard Alexander, Baxter Moore, Earl Collins, and Alva Lochridge.
