MRS. ELIZA ALLGOOD DIES IN BIRMINGHAM
Mrs. Eliza Allgood, 92, died Monday morning in a Birmingham hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of Dr. W. B. Allgood, widely known physician of Blount County, who died several years ago. Allgood was named for her late husband. Born in Blount County, she had lived in Allgood about 65 years. She had lived with her son, Dr. H. W. Allgood, in Fairfield the last 25 years. The Allgoods live at 5050 Parkway. Mrs. Allgood was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include Dr: Allgood, another son, ex-Congressman Miles Allgood, Mentone; one brother Robert Clowdus, Oneonta, and a sister, Mrs. R. G. Richardson, Birmingham. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday, at Luquires Cemetery. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery, Allgood.
