Jane Luann Steeples, 77 passed away July 11, 2013 in Carthage, MO. Jane was born July 16, 1935 in Sedalia, MO., to James Edgar and Sara Jane Quint.
Jane was a homemaker and a resident of Carthage since 1959. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage and was active in Church and taught Sunday school.
Jane was united in marriage to Benjamin Steeples on May 29, 1953 in Sedalia, MO. He preceded her in death October 27, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter Barbara Gory and one son Steve Steeples both of Carthage. Four grandsons Dustin and Brian Gory, and Ben and Charles Steeples. Four Great grandchildren, one sister and two brothers. Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 17, 2013 at Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
