BALDWYN – Bobby Gene Nichols, 75, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born March 5, 1938, to L.B. and Anneda Barrett Nichols. He was a retired self employed auto body repairman. He was a member of Parker's Chapel Baptist Church. He enjoyed trading.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. William Copeland and Bro. Fred Hartley officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Box Nichols of Baldwyn; his daughters, Shelia Potts (Griz) of Baldwyn and Tina Kelton (Chuck) of Booneville; brother, Ricky Nichols (Wanda) of Booneville; sister, Ann Lindley of Booneville; grandchildren, Stormie, Skye, and Hayden Kelton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Tittle; and brother, Danny Nichols.
Pallbearers are Eddie Scott, Roy Hugh Scott, Mike Scott, Lyle Bullock, Ernest Barnes, Michael Nichols, Tim Neeley and Winston Young.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
