Robert Klinow Robert Klinow, age 95, of Topeka died June 29, 2013 at McCrites Retirement Center in Topeka. He was born in Lawrence, KS on July 30, 1917 to Henry and Mary Klinow, one of eight children. He lived in Ft. Dodge, KS until he joined the Civilian Conservation Corp. He joined the US Navy at age 20 and retired after serving before, during and after WW2. Bob married Dorothy Wray Chapman in 1966. She preceded him in death in 1996. He is survived by his two step-daughters, Barbara Anspaugh of Pomona and Dorothy Wentworth of Whiting, NJ. Other survivors include several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandson along with several nieces and nephews. Robert wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. davidsonfuneral.com.
