EDEN – Ilene Zelma Clark, 90, of Eden, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Parke View Rehabilitation and Care Center in Burley.

She was born on July 4, 1922, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Ernest and Effy Kasinger Holston. She received her education in Eden. In 1939, she married Roy A. Clark in Hailey, Idaho. She worked for the A & P for 13 years and she has resided in Eden for the past 53 years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a dedicated homemaker. As a devoted mother, she spent many hours making clothing for her children and canning food. She loved to paint, spend time in her garden, and take trips to Jackpot, Nevada.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons: Gary and Ron; and a son-in-law, Dick Stewart.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Reda Brown, of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Carolyn Stewart, of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Diane (Howard) Slicker, of Billings, MT; son, David (Kaye) Clark, of Burley; daughter-in-law, Kathy Clark, of Eden; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27, in the Hazelton Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
