Bertha Ann Sharp, 62, of Montgomery, passed away Friday, August 29, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 23, 1946, in Conroe, Texas, to Oscar and Margorie Giles.
Bertha Ann was a loving mother, MeMaw, sister, and friend. The joys in her life were her children, grandchildren, and her flower garden. She was loved by all that knew her for her compassion and strength. She was passionate about life and always put others before herself. Bertha Ann will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Garry Sharp Jr. and wife Stacy; daughters, Jennifer Sechelski and husband Mark, Heather Moore and husband Randy; grandchildren, Shelly Lemm and husband Jacob, Sonya Sharp, Garrett Sharp, Dustin Polan, Tommy Moore, Isaac Moore; great-grandchildren, Harlee Christiansen, Jayden Lemm; brothers, Billy Giles, Wayne Giles and wife Caroline; sisters, Linda Kay Carver, Cynthia Keasling and husband Floyd; along with many other family and friends.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Metcalf Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. Interment will follow after the service at Fairview Cemetery in Richards, Texas. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, September 2, 2008, from 5-8 p.m.
