John Oliver, 86, of Cabot, formerly of West Leechburg, passed away Monday at the Saxony Health Center.
Born March 25, 1927, in West Leechburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph and Ann (Enrico) Oliver.
John was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He retired from PPG in Creighton, Pa.
He was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of the West Leechburg Volunteer Fire Department. John enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are his loving wife, (LIVING) Oliver, who he married Sept. 10, 1949; his son, his daughters, his grandchildren,and his great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Oliver, and his sister, Matilda (Oliver) Bilan.
Services will be Saturday at the Cabot United Methodist Church with the Rev. Matthew Judd officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Leechburg.
