Born June 15, 1905, in Chicago, Mr. Wolf died Saturday, February 14, 1976, enroute to the hospital after having been stricken with a heart attack. He was the son of the late Charles John and Anna Schlesinger Wolf and had been a resident of Earlville since February of 1939 when he and his brother, George, purchased W.H. Dolder's barber shop and billiard business. He was also formerly employed at Marathon, operated an upholstering business and had been a guitar and accordian instructor.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie Froelich Wolf (8/19/1907-5/15/1979), to whom he was married June 19, 1937; a son, and his brother George, of Aurora. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Article edited to take out living persons (2013)
