Mrs Lou Strang Strapp, 83, of 315 NW 15, former first lady of the state, died Friday night at a local rest home. Rosary will be at 7:30 pm Sunday at St Joseph's Old Cathedral, and mass will be at 10 am Monday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of Smith & Kernke Funeral Home.
Her husband, M. E. Trapp, succeeded to the governor's chair when Gov. Jack Walton was impeached and removed. (details omitted) Survivors include a son, Martin Edward Trapp Jr, of the home. The family prefers that any contributions go to the Associated Catholic Charities.
