Theresa J. Quill
Theresa J. (Quigley) Quill, 85, a long time resident of Wilmington, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Franciscan Care Center, Hockessin.
Born in Wilmington on August 1, 1927, Theresa was the daughter of the late Francis and Jane (Winnington) Quigley. She was a member of St. Ann's Parish and the Graham Senior Center. In years past, she was a choir member at Sacred Heart Church and St. Patrick's Church.
Her husband, Leo P. Quill, passed away on June 20, 1993. She was also predeceased by her 12 siblings.
Theresa is survived by her son, Leo P. Quill, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 1900 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington on Thursday, February 28 from 9:00 - 10:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church, Gilpin Avenue and N. Union Street at 10:30AM.
Committal prayers will be held in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear on Friday, March 1 at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Theresa may be made to the Franciscan Care Center, 100 St. Claire Drive, Hockessin, DE 19707.
