Truman Aldrich Herron, 75, Cincinnati patent trial lawyer and a founder of the law firm of Wood, Herron and Evans, died Thursday after an illness of several months.

A member of Indian hill Village Council from 1945 to 1949, Mr. Herron lived in Indian Hill for many years. He had lived in recent years on Herschel View, Mt. Lookout. He retired from law practice in 1974.

He attended Cincinnati Public Schools and was graduated from Williams College, Williamstown, MA and the University Of Cincinnati College Of Law.

Mr. Herron was a member of Indian Hill Church and the Cincinnati Bar Association, and was a former president of the Cincinnati Patent Law Bar Association.

Mr. Herron leaves his wife, Jean Wilkinson Herron, two daughters, Mrs. Thomas M. Stanton and Mrs. Richard Furman; a son, Scott W. Herron; a sister, Eleanor Herron Forbes and seven grandchildren. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday at Indian hill Church.
