Survived by husb., Ivor P. Wold.MILDRED WYATT-WOLD ("Mimi"), was born April 3, 1903 in Erie, Kansas, and passed away in Dallas, Texas on January 6, 2005.

A long time resident of Dallas, Mildred with her first husband, Mr. Earle Wyatt, started Wyatt Cafeterias in Dallas which grew to over 120 cafeterias in nine states.

Mildred loved flowers and was very active in the Dallas Women's Club, Dallas Garden Club along with the Dallas Bankers Wives Club and many other philanthropic organizations. All of her gifts to many of Dallas' charitable, religious and educational organizations are too numerous to mention, but the latest include the Ivor and Mildred Wyatt-Wold Center for Geriatric Care at Southwestern Medical School, the Ivor and Mildred Wyatt-Wold Education Center at The Dallas Arboretum and gifts to her church, East Dallas Christian Church, and Juliette Fowler Home. One of her early gifts to Dallas in 1961 was the large bronze statue of a Texas Ranger which was initially on display at Dallas' Love Field Airport for a number of years and now resides in the Texas Ranger Museum.

Mildred touched and enriched many lives during her lifetime through her caring and generosity. She was loved by many and will be missed by her family and friends.

Surviving Mildred are her devoted and loving husband, Ivor P. Wold, her nephews, Robert E. Hall and Richard Terry Hall, her nieces in law, Ruthana Hall and Susan Hall, her great nephews and nieces, A. Danielle Hall Worthen and her spouse, Jeff, Robert E. Hall, II, and his spouse, Rebecca, Helen Hall Peck and her spouse, David, William L. Hall, II, and his spouse, Uschi, Christi Hall Reese and her spouse, Robb, Charles Russell Hall and his spouse, Laurie, Charles Lee Hall, Jr. and Bradley Wyatt Hall and his spouse, Trina, her daughter-in-law, Christine Wold, and her children, Jay Wold, Stefan Arteaga, Alma Arteaga and Ola Arteaga. and her son-in-law, P. T. Wold, and his daughter, Greta, and son, Bill, and a number of great great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care that her following caregivers provided to Mildred: Hazel Davis, Pattamapa Forbush, Anong Chittamai, Siriporn Green, Buranit Sudchai and Ratana Worsham.

Friends may call at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas 75225 on Sunday, January 9, 2005 between 6:00 p. m. and 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 N. Peak, Dallas, Texas 75246, with Pastor John Cunyus officiating. A private interment will be held at Hillcrest Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Dallas Christian Church, Juliette Fowler Home, Southwestern Medical School, The Dallas Arboretum, Childrens Medical Center, Texas Nature Conservancy and Texas Society for the Blind or your favorite charity.
