The Burlington Hawk-Eye, page 8, July 27, 1917; Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa:

Mrs. Carrie McKeoun (sic) passed away at her home in St. Joseph, Missouri. Carrie Nance (sic) was born in Burlington, October 9, 1876, was married to A. R. McKeoun (sic) in 1897, and about twelve years ago, the family moved to St Joseph, where the husband is employed in the railroad service. Deceased is survived by the husband and one child, the mother, and the following sisters: Mrs. N. T. (sic) Smith, of Texas; Mrs. E. Wells, Mrs. J. W. Zurmuehlen and Mrs. Henry Klem (sic), of this city. Many friends will hold her in affectionate remembrance.

The arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.

Mrs. Carrie A. McKeown, wife of Albert R. McKeown, died at her home, 1017 Green street, St. Joseph, Missouri, Wednesday evening (July 25, 1917), at 8 o'clock.

She was a member of. Spruce street Methodist church, where an Impressive service, was held Thursday afternoon, and the remains arrived here at 4:15 this morning and the funeral services will be held at 2205 South Main street, at 9:30 this (Saturday) morning.
