Lettie married Claude Hart Wasson, son of Claude Loriane Wasson and Julia Ellen Hart on January 30, 1946 at Jefferson County, Alabama. She must have met Claude while visiting relatives(her mother's brother, Rev. Nathan Crawford, & other relatives) there because she lived in Newnan, Georgia. They moved to his home town, Lamesa, Texas. After Claude's death, Lettie moved back to Georgia. There were no children.
