Therese Renia Lorenz, 41, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, September 19, 2003, at Research Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Interment in Lee's Summit Historical Cemetery. Visitation 7-8:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
Therese was born December 3, 1961, in Chillicothe, MO. She had worked as a cosmetologist for over 20 years in the area. Therese was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Lorenz. Survived by her daughter, Jensa Niehaus; brother, Larry Niehaus; sister, Stephanie Cheek, all of Independence, MO; parents, Larry and Lois Niehaus of Chillicothe, MO; nephew, Christopher Niehaus; nieces, Laura Niehaus and Skyelar Cheek; father-in-law, Wayne Lorenz; aunts, uncles, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
