Born July 12, 1968 in Monroe, he was the son of Norman and Antonina (Koszykowski) DuVall. Rob attended St. Mary Elementary School was a 1987 graduate of Monroe High School. He earned a bachelor degree in Microbiology from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from the University of California, Davis.
Rob was employed for several years by the State of California as Senior Scientist in their Air Quality Control Division. He enjoyed restoring cars, fishing, and had a fondness of animals, especially dogs.
Rob is survived by his parents, Norm and Toni DuVall of Monroe; sister, Christine (Andrew) Notario of Monroe; nephew, Andrew Notario; two nieces, Abigail and Elizabeth Notario; two aunts, Linda Kos and Jo Ann Fargo; Uncle, Michael DuVall; and cousins, Eric and Jason Kos.
Rupp Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation arrangements in California and local funeral arrangements. His family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30th at St. Mary Catholic Church. The church pastor, Rev. David Burgard will officiate Mass of the Resurrection celebrating Rob’s life.
