He was born in Marshville Oct. 27, 1940, a son of the late George L. and Opal May Clevenger Powers.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Powers; and three sisters, Barbara Showen, Virginia Kesling and Idamay Earnest.
Mr. Powers was a self-employed construction worker and loved to work on cars.
Interment will be in the Hazelgreen Cemetery.
