Arcie Lambert Harvey, age 74, of Hancock, Md., died on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center, in Hagerstown, Md.

Born Saturday, January 9, 1943, in Garrett County, Md., he was the son of the late Charles Arthur and Pearl Adilia (Martin) Harvey, and the husband of Fannie Lee (Wyant) Harvey, of Hancock, whom he married on July 18, 1964 at the Hancock Assembly of God.

He attended the Hancock Assembly of God Church, and the Hancock Grace Church of the Nazarene.

He was retired from Rayloc Corp., in Hancock, after 35 years, where he worked in the shipping department.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Arcie Lee Harvey, of Hancock; five sisters, Jessie Swadley, of Needmore, Pa., Ruthie Divel, of Clear Spring, Md., Charlotte Sauter, of Warfordsburg, Pa., Wilma Leach and Janie Smith, both of Hancock; two brothers, Roger and Martin Harvey, both of Hancock; two grandchildren, Nicklas and Emily Harvey; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Silver and Naomi Sipes; and three brothers, Freddie Wayne, Bill, and Bobbie Harvey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Hancock Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services will be held at the Church on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Don Preston and Rev. Willis Swope will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, in Needmore, Pa.
