Lois was born to Joseph Hascew Coward and Julia Ann Gulley Coward in St Clair, Hawkins Co. Tennessee, and came to Tulare when she was five years old.

She married Walton Algernan Albright in Tulare Co., about 1923 and soon moved to Burbank, California.

She gave birth to one son, Walton Algernon "Wally" Albright Jr., born in Burbank in 1925. Wally was a child movie star by the time that he was four years old, he is best remembered for his brief stint as Wally in Hal Roach's "Our Gang" (aka "The Little Rascals") films. He played in many movies through 1940 when he had a roll in "Grapes of Wrath."

Lois had two brothers, Kroger Lee Coward, and Robert Carl Coward and a sister Effie Margaret "Charna" Coward White.

Her obituary was published in the Tulare Advance Register the 22 of May 1981, as follows:

LOIS ALBRIGHT Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Little Church of the Flowers in Forrest Lawn, Glendale, for the former Tularean, Lois Etheleen Albright, who died Tuesday in Santa Monica. Mrs. Albright was 76. She is survived by one son, Walton Albright, Woodland; one sister Charna White, Santa Monica; and one grandson. Mrs. Albright was born in St. Clair, Tenn
