World War II Nazi German Government Official. He was the Minister of the Interior in the government of Nazi Germany under Reichchancellor Adolph Hitler. He framed the Nuremberg Race Laws that "legalized" Nazi actions against the Jews. From 1943 to 1945 he served as "Reichsprotektor" of Bohemia and Moravia in Germany, and was responsible for the concentration camps there. Found guilty at Nuremberg of war crimes, crimes against humanity and crimes against peace, he was executed by hanging. His remains were cremated in the oven at Dachau concentration camp along with many other Nazi criminals. The ashes were raked out and later scattered into the Wenzbach/Conwentzbach, a small stream in Munich.
