Professional Wrestler. Born in England, he originally studied architecture for four years before becoming a three-time national and World Champion in Judo. He later entered the professional wrestling circuit, and traveled to the United States in the early 1980s, where his wrestling career saw its greatest success. In 1983 when he joined the World Class Championship Wrestling, and became known for his trademark signature "superkick." He achieved greater fame wrestling with the Von Erich wresting family and his time in the later 1990s was spent as part of World Championship Wrestling. In the early 1990's, he operated a wrestling school in Dallas, Texas where he trained contemporary wresting star "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Before his sudden death, he had plans of joining a new federation in November with the likes of well known wrestling figures such as Hulk Hogan, Bill Goldberg, Greg Valentine, Roddy Piper and others. On October 7, 2001, he was shot and killed by his former business partner. He had only been married for six weeks to his new bride Karen at the time of his death.
