Businessman. Indianapolis Speedway Co-Founder. In 1927, he became the sole owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. After he died in 1928, the speedway was sold to World War l hero Eddie Rickenbacker. The speedway was later sold by Mr. Rickenbacker in 1946 to Anton Hulman, Jr.
