Professional Wrestler. He was given the nickname "Bulldog" in grade school, which stuck for his entire life. He was trained by Verne Gagne and Bronko Nagurski and debuted in the 1950s. In his 40+ year career he held numerous heavyweight and tag team titles for such wrestling promotions as the Madison Wrestling Club, Stampede Wrestling, NWA All Star Wrestling, and the NWA Central States Wrestling. He retired in 1996 after a massive heart attack and passed away the following year at the age of 58.
