American Musician, Cajun Music Legend. He was an accomplished accordionist and singer. His interest in music began at the age of seven. He learned to play on the accordion. In his early teens he became interested in rock and roll and played with a couple of the local groups. In 1959, he founded the Cajun group "The Musical Aces". In his career he had great success with several songs, "Un Autre Soir Ennuyant", "Pardon Waltz," and "Waltz of No Return", "The Streak", "Behind Closed Doors," I'm back, Cajun Streak, and The Older The Wine, The Finer The Taste and many others. He received several honers and awards, in 1995, the "Festivals Acadiens" were held in his honor. In 1997, was inducted into the "Cajun French Music Association's Hall of Fame", in 2000 "Rayne-Acadia Parish Hall" of Honor. In 2003, he was inducted into the "Acadian museum's Living Legends" list. In 2004, he won the Cajun French Music Association's "Male Vocalist of the Year".
