Singer/Musician, Born in Hamilton, Alabama, Hurshel Wiginton began singing at a very young age. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee he partnered with Joe Babcock and started the group, The Nashville Edition. In 1976 they were asked to perform their theme song on the new television show , The Hee Haw Show. They were asked to come back. As a result of their performance, they became part of the original cast . They remained with the show as the lead backup group till it ended 25 years later. Hurshel had the privilege of singing with George Jones, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, and many other country music stars.
