GREER, SOUTH CAROLINA - Our little hero, Jacob Ryan Morris, lost his courageous battle to leukemia on Fri. June 21, 2002 at his home in South Carolina. He was born Oct. 6, 1996 in Ogden, to Ryan Morris and Christie Nelson Roberts. Jacob was such an inspiration to us all. He taught us the true meaning of how to live, love and especially laugh. Even during his most difficult times, Jacob always had a smile on his face. He had a wonderful personality with a great sense of humor. He loved to play practical jokes on people. Jacob never let leukemia get him down. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, swords, and especially playing with his brother and sister, Taylor and Riley. Jacob will truly be missed by all. Jacob is survived by his mother and step-father, Christie and Tony Roberts, Greer, SC; his father and step-mother, Ryan and Stacy Morris, Salt Lake City; brother, Taylor Morris and sister, Riley Morris, both of Greer, SC. He is also survived by many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who all have loved him. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Allen Nelson. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful medical staff at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the National Cancer Society to help find a cure. email condolences to the family at: [email protected]
