Margie M. Hitchens, 73, died Wednesday in her Hebron home of cardiac arrest.Born in Laurel, she was a daughter of the late George and Lula Hitch O'Neal. Her husband, Levin John Hitchens died in 1974. She was a member of the Wicomico Teen Adult Center at Sharptown for 11 years.Surviving are a daughter, Nellie May Hitchens, Elkton; two sons, Bobby and William John "Buck" Hitchens, Hebron, and a sister, Virgie Hill, Laurel.Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday in the Marvel-Short Funeral Home in Delmar. The Rev. Herbert Gladden will officiate and interment will be in the Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
