Two British Cadets Are Killed in Crash
Ponca City. - The two cadets killed when their plane crashed near Cushing Thursday on a flight from British Flight Training School No. 6 at the Ponca City airport were Aviation Cadet Raymond Lee Gray, 20 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.N. Gray of Tulsa, and Leading Air Cadet, Gerald Owen George Worrall, 21, son of G.H. Worrall of Nottingham, England, Wing-Com. .A. Ball revealved Saturday.
The body of the American cadet was taken to Tulsa by the E.M. Trout and Sons Funeral home Saturday morning for funeral services and burial there.
The Rev. Gordon V. Smith, royal air force chaplain, officiated at British military services at 3 p.m. Sunday at the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The Trout Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
