Adam George Weinman, the son of Michael Johann Weinman and his wife, Barbara Eva Zillinger, was born on June 3, 1885, in Phillips County, Kansas.

The father's arms of God were opened to him in Holy Baptism on July 12, 1885. Fourteen years later he was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on April 9, 1899, at Emmanuel Lutheran church of Stuttgart. On Sept 17, 1911, he was united in holy matrimony with Barbara Hoffman.

Their union was blessed with four children. They made their home on a farm in Mound township. She died in 1933, the result of a kitchen fire. After the death of his wife, Mr. Weinman continued to farm and also worked as a carpenter throughout his life. For a time he managed the Stuttgart elevator and the Stuttgart lumber yard. In February of 1938 he married Katherine Heffron Busby who passed away in 1961.

Mr. Weinman died at his home on April 26, 1962, at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 23 days. The coroner said that he had, a "tired heart". The survivors include: two sons, Richard of Phillipsburg and Willard of Stuttgart; two daughters Mrs. Della Cole of Englewood, Colo., and Mrs. Rena Calhoun of Altus, Okla.; one brother, William A. Weinman of Stuttgart; and three sisters, Mrs. Herbert Hanke of Stuttgart, Mrs. Elizabeth Schulze of Santa Ana Calif, and Mrs. Mary Townsend of Orange, California.

There are nine grandchildren. May Jesus the Victor over Death, comfort those who mourn. Memorial services were held Saturday, April 28 1962 at 2 o'clock in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Stuttgart with Rev. Leonard Rudolph officiating. Music was a duet by Phyllis Merklein, accompanied by Anna Bethke. Pallbearers were: Floy Hanke, Carl Wells, Eric Bietz, Melvin Kelly Vernon Krafft and Aurther Merklein.

Interment was in the Emmanuel Lutheran cemetery, Stuttgart Kansas. Card of Thanks. We wish to thank all of our friends and relatives for the cards, flowers, gifts of food, hospital visits and other kind acts of kindness during the illness and at the time of death of our father, Adam Weinman. – The Weinman children.
