Son of Henry Forney Sr. and Marie Ritter. Some believe Henry (died between 1840-1845) is buried in Canfield Village Cemetery, Canfield, Mahoning, OH. I have seen no sources for that burial location.

Variation of last name mainly Furney or Forney; both can be seen on gravestones, though David's appears to be "O".
