Roseville -- Funeral services for Roy Ross, 69, life resident of this community and retired farmer, who died Wednesday night in Monmouth hospital, were held this afternoon in Roseville Christian church. The Rev. Clifton E. Butler officiated and burial was in Salem cemetery. Mr. Ross was a member of Salem church until it disbanded a number of years ago. He was admitted to the hospital a few hours before his death after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Ross was born Sept. 21, 1880, on the Ross farm three miles northwest of Roseville, a son of Newton and Alice Beasley Ross. He married Miss Ethel Crawford. Her death occurred in 1931. He married Miss Edith Walton, March 7, 1932.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Howard, and a daughter, Miss Helen Ross, both of Peoria; a grandchild, and three brothers, Fred B., H. Clifford and Chester Ross, all of this community. Two brothers, Charles and Wilbur, preceded him in death.
